Friday Night Kick-Off Party
As the name implies, come in your comfy clothes and get ready for a night of laughs!  We'll play games, snack, be entertained, meet our guest speaker, and finish with an epic lip sync battle !
Saturday we will have 2 sessions with our speaker and small groups, times for worship led by Jana Broussard, and prayer.  In the middle of the day you will have several optional activities to occupy your time including workshops, paddle boats, activities in the game room, and a game of volleyball.
Saturday Workshops (optional)
Pin it With Prayer – China Livings will help us discover how to take our passion for crafting and turn it into a memorable devotional time with God.
Avoiding Burnout – Kelda Poynot will give us some tips and tactics to help prioritize our lives and function at our best.
Artsy Journaling – Rhonda Gautreaux will lead “Draw Closer to God, multimedia journaling.”
Outdoorsy – The ropes course is a challenging, fun way to hang outside. Cost is $13.50 to be paid when you register.
Get Your Own Idea – If workshops aren't your thing, do whatever your heart desires. Walk, rock on the porch, take a hike, take a nap, take a walk, take a drive to the many surrounding plant nurseries. A group of knitters or crocheters will also gather at the rocking chairs during free time.  It's all up to you.
Saturday night we will have a memorable time together with a bonfire by the lake!
Sunday we will reflect on our weekend together as we share communion, have a time of worship and prayer, hear a final message from our guest speaker, and reveal the winner of an amazing door prize.

Snacks:
Oh yes, we are going to eat! Here's how: Everyone brings a snack to share. Oh yeah, and there's going to be a “best snack “contest, so if you're the competitive type, make yours delectable. If not, there's nothing wrong with pre-packaged goodies.

Get prepared:
Wear comfy clothing.  Bring all your toiletries and a light jacket. Don't forget your Bible and a bag to carry it in. Pack an umbrella and flashlight. Please, bring a 6-pack of water, and a 6-pack of soft drinks (if you drink them) and we'll ice them down in coolers for all to share.  We will also have a market again this year with all proceeds benefiting Living Hope and Escape from Poverty (cash or checks accepted at the market).
