Below is a summary of what was shared with the congregation on June 15, 2025. Each month, our elders provide notable updates across key areas of church life.
Missions Update
1. Liberia – Change Agent Network (CAN) & YoungLife Africa
Trinity donated $24,000 to help update the Bong Campus for YoungLife camps, which will host 17,000 kids each weekend from February through May. Renovations already completed include upgraded water lines and a new water room, 12 tiled bathroom stalls with showers and sinks, classroom conversions with tile, mosquito nets, and curtains for sleeping, and a newly tiled main hall with a stage for large gatherings. More funds are still needed. Please join us in praying for the continued progress and completion of this important project.
2. CrossOver Global – Church Planting
Fifty leaders from 20–30 countries recently gathered in Albania to advance church planting efforts among 30 unreached people groups. Our ministry partner Hurshid, from Uzbekistan, was among them. He continues to face persecution, economic hardship, and significant leadership challenges. Please keep Hurshid and the churches he oversees in your prayers as they work faithfully in difficult conditions.
3. Haiti – Picot Sister Church
A recent video call with Pastor Calixte and his wife, Madam, provided encouraging updates from Haiti. The church, school, and parsonage continue to be rebuilt following the 2021 earthquake, with Trinity sending ongoing financial support for essentials like windows, doors, and benches.
Despite the turmoil in the region, the church is thriving, 400 people attend worship services, and 500 children in the K–8 school receive hot meals through the Hope for Kidz program. Ministries are active and growing, including choir, women’s, men’s, youth, and prayer groups. As people flee to safer areas, new believers are joining the church, bringing hope in the midst of hardship.
Let’s continue to pray for our mission partners and celebrate the incredible impact Trinity is having around the world.
