Elder Update from November 23, 2025
Finances
Not much to report, we're continuing to operate on budget so thank you for your continued generosity and faithfulness in giving. You can give online, or by putting a check or cash in the boxes at the exits.
Facilities
We're updating the sanctuary. Paola has led a team of people in our church and they are making some plans to update the sanctuary by the end of the year. Expect it to be brighter!
Here is the team: Joi Johnston, Daniel Trahan, Avery Gregory, Ali Berard, Danny Seymour and Paola Rivas. Thanks to them! We're excited to see their vision brought to life over the coming weeks.
Staff and Leadership Updates
Julie Lemaire has joined the staff as the Childcare Manager. Her and Trevor have been long time members here and now you can welcome her to the staff!
Childcare is an important service to our ministry here at Trinity. We want to give parents, volunteers and staff opportunities to operate and participate in ministry events while they know their children are being well taken care of. So Julie has taken on a great responsibility and we're thankful and excited about her joining the team.
Missions
Haiti
- Hurricane Melissa: Trinity is responding by donating funds for 50 food kits ($225 each) to feed 50 families in our sister Church in Picot for a month in response the the destruction of Hurricane Melissa.
- Also, Praise God, the newly rebuilt church and school are still intact without major damage from the Hurricane. Earlier this year we helped pay for the windows and doors to be made to help complete the rebuilding and we received an update in October. This is part of the rebuilding of their school after the earthquake in 2021.
Read here the latest update from our sister church in Picot.
Guatemala
Our team that went to Guatemala came back safely and will be sharing updates from their trip next Sunday so be here for that!
