Leadership
Thank you Carla!
Carla Potier, our Children’s Ministry Assistant, has stepped down from her staff role to serve alongside her husband Casey, one of our elders. While she will no longer serve in a staff position, she will continue as an active volunteer, and we are thankful for her time on staff.
Leader Lunches
Each month on the first Tuesday, we also host our Leader Lunches. These gatherings bring together staff, elders, deacons, and ministry leaders for a time of fellowship and encouragement. They continue to be a valuable way for our leadership team to connect.
Ministries
Small groups and Bible Studies
Our ministries are in full swing with small groups, men’s Bible studies, and women’s Bible studies meeting regularly. If you have not yet found a place to connect, these groups are a wonderful opportunity to get involved. To learn more, just reach out to any of our staff members.
Campus Updates
Around the campus, you may notice some updates in progress. Several rooms, including the Venue and Lagniappe rooms, are being repurposed to better serve ministry needs. Thank you for your patience as we make these adjustments. Our hope is to work with everyone currently using the rooms to make sure they best meet our church body's needs.
Finances
We are grateful to report that the church is in a healthy financial position. After the first two months of the fiscal year, we are $7,000 ahead. 21% of all giving is designated directly to missions, and already this year we have been able to send $40,000 to support mission work here and around the world. Thank you for your generosity and continued faithfulness in giving, which allows us to support both our local ministries and our global mission partners.
Missions
Pray for the Guatemala Trip
In November, a team of five will be traveling to Guatemala to serve alongside our sister church and minister to the community. The trip will include projects such as building homes and bunk beds, as well as teaching at the Bible Institute we have helped establish. Please be praying for the team as they prepare, for their health and safety while traveling, and for the Lord to bless their ministry and encourage the people they will serve.
